HARVEY PUTTER MAKES CONTACT WITH MUGGLENET

Our team attended a local book signing featuring Emerson Spartz, the founder of the #1 Harry Potter website in the world MuggleNet.com and one of the authors of "What Will Happen In Harry Potter 7." We spoke with Emerson and his brother Dylan (web designer for the site) and both were very enthusiastic about the HARVEY PUTTER film. We look forward to working with them as the project develops. Their staff at MuggleNet.com is simply outstanding. Thanks for your support, guys!

LETTER FROM RICHARD TAYLOR

In case you didn't know, Richard Taylor is the head honcho at the Weta Workshop in New Zealand which was behind all the visual effects—digital, miniatures, armor, creatures, etc—for THE LORD OF THE RINGS and CHRONICLES OF NARNIA. Our friend Peter Lyon, master swordmaker for LOTR (he created Frodo's sword "Sting" among others), passed along a copy of our film to Richard and we received this letter just three weeks later:

Hi there Tim,

Thank you very much for sending me the signed 2-disc DVD of "The Dork of the Rings." I'm looking forward to finding some time over the Christmas break to watch your film.

All the best with your endeavours for the future.

Cheers, (signed "Richard") Richard Taylor

We'll certainly be looking forward to any comments he may have and hopefully the other copy we sent will find its way into Peter Jackson's busy little hands. Again, many thanks to Peter Lyon for all his assistance.

KIRAN SHAH MESSAGE

We also recently received an e-mail from our actor friend Kiran.
Here's what he wrote:

I have seen 'The Movie' and am pleased with all the result. It is really funny and flows well. Keep the work going. We need more funny movies like the one you guys are doing.

I am looking forward to your version of Harry Potter.... and let Kit know when you have done the script.

Regards to all and keep in contact. Take care Guys.

Love and Happiness

FAN FILM MAGAZINE

The magazine Fan Films Quarterly wrote about us in their story about new releases in the world of fan films. It was very positive and you can order your own copy of the publication through their website at http://www.fanfilmsquarterly.com

MARSCON 2007

We'll be attending Marscon on March 2-4 in Minnesota. Their website is http://marscon.org/2007. Luke Ski has highly recommended this con and the organizers are excited about having multiple screenings of the film and having us there for Q&A's after as well as doing filmmaking seminars.

"HARVEY PUTTER" MOVIE

Little by little we've been dropping tid bits about this new film currently in the scriptwriting stage. Bryce Cone has been cast as Harvey Putter and David Kiefer will be playing Bulbus Mumblebore (or whatever we end up calling him). All other roles will be auditioned and we'll keep everyone posted. Filming won't begin until 2008. You can check out the teaser page at the new website www.harveyputter.com and can sign up for the mailing list at putter@rpstudios.net.
