2008 HOTELS

The Holiday Inn Downtown and South Bend Marriott Hotel are the closest to the campus but they are by far not the cheapest of hotels. However, they are close to a lot of attractions downtown such as the College Football Hall of Fame, some of our local museums, bars/nightclubs, etc.
Super 8-Mishawaka, Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn Mishawaka, Fairfield Inn Mishawaka, Comfort Inn & Suites in Mishawaka, are farther out but might be cheaper. Our best advice is to get online to www.hotels.com, www.travelocity.com, www.expedia.com and type in South Bend, IN to view hotel prices. If you are good at haggling prices, I have found that if you call the hotel directly, you can usually talk them down to a lower price but sometimes the website has the better price. Anything outside of South Bend/Mishawaka/Granger might be a little too far. If you aren’t familiar with the area, it would be best that you tried to get a hotel in one of those three cities. Anything in Elkhart, Goshen, Michigan City, La Porte, Plymouth are 30-60 minutes out of the way, unless you don’t mind the drive.
