Looking over there work I’ve noticed one thing that is universal – being yourself. Sometimes you need to step back and take a look at how you interact with your environment so that you can use that in your modeling. When I look at the things that my brother and sister have done I can see how they improve their work by being themselves. Has there been a sibling rivalry? No, never. Probably never will be. I have a close bond with my brothers and sister and we all wish each other the best. Sure, there might be a little competition, but it’s always in good fun.
My older brother, Mike, did some work years ago that gave me my first exposure. It wasn’t until my younger brother, Joe, did his first work that I decided to give it a shot. Describe your best photo session. My best photo session was this last one I just did. We started early in the morning at the beach, doing the nudes and water shots before all the crowds came. The weather was perfect, but the water was extremely cold since Lake Michigan doesn’t get warm until mid-July. Then we went to a more populated beach to capture a different setting. This was interesting because everyone was watching, so I felt almost like I was performing. Next we went to the quaint downtown area of New Buffalo to do some shots in street clothes. I enjoyed this because the town had a very comfortable feel to it and I felt right at home.
