The photographers stumbled across my shots when I put the link to my site on an online forum. One of the photographers was from New Jersey and the other from Florida and after they emailed me I stayed in regular contact with them to maybe one day organise a shoot, hoping to cross paths. What made you decide to go? The photographer, Russell Swanson was traveling to Florida and offered to pay for my airfare so that was the main reason I decided to go, plus I desperately needed to get some professional shots for my portfolio. I mean, I wasn't going to pass up on an offer like that! I then told the other photographer, Robert Meyer I was going to be in Florida and we organised a time to shoot (with consent of Russell since it was his money paying for the airfare). They are both great people and I loved working with them. What happened when you got to the shoot? I got to the shoot and was fairly comfortable with everything. It was made much easier because I had spent a day with Russell and Robert before each respective shoot. I got to know their personality and style of photography How did you do? Were you nervous? Did you enjoy it? I really enjoyed the shoots! They were a lot of fun. Both Russell and Robert are great people so I felt comfortable expressing my personality in the shots which didn't make the photos look so 'stiff.'. I was extremely nervous though when I first met them! I was going through the paranoia stage of 'what if they don't like my look', 'what if I'm not what they expected' , 'can I actually do this'. It was strange because I wasn't nervous at all when I began each shoot, but more concerned of their thoughts on my look before the shoot.
