May 2000: Apart from a few small shots,
principle shooting for the short film PLUNGE is complete. A rough edit is
being made right now with plans to finish the final edit by the end of
summer. PLUNGE will be available on VHS when it is completed sometime in
August/early September.
March 2000: FINAL SCENES are scheduled for March 19th.
Editing will begin in April. Take a look at the publicity stills
and behind the scenes photos of the cast in crew in action on the Production
page.
Shooting
began on August 22, 1999. We shot the majority of the river/factory scenes,
and fortunately it was a fairly nice day. We have also shot one of the
classroom scenes, the hallway, and all of the pool and underwater shots
as of September 15. Everything has turned out wonderfully. Written
by Michael Kouroubetes (co-writer/assistant director Bloodlines, writer/producer
A:kill)
and directed by Tim Richardson (writer/director Revelations, co-writer/director
Bloodlines,
director A:\kill) this short has plans to be entered in any of the
many video festivals across the country. It stars Joseph Scheibelhut
(Boys in Black, Revelations, Bloodlines) who has has gained much
notoriety on the net as a result of high exposure
on the Young Male Star Homepage, various interviews, and his very active
official fan club which assists a literacy program in California. Chicago
stage actor Randy Colborn has joined the cast. Jamie Talboom (Revelations,
A:\kill) and George Schricker (A:\kill) have signed on as well.

5-27-99:A
rehearsal was held in late May at the river filming site. American Teen
Video Magazine Producer Bob Lamb came out to get some shots for their
video and do an interview with Joe. It was an overcast day, which actually
worked well with the tone of the scene. The test gave us a good sense of
what to expect as far as audio and lighting for shooting the real deal
in August. A rehearsal at the pool location will be set up during the summer.
