HARVEY PUTTER screens at Starbase Indy

HARVEY PUTTER AND THE RIDICULOUS PREMISE will screen in Indianapolis at Starbase Indy the weekend of Dec. 9 – 11. The film will screen Saturday the 10th at 6 p.m. and DVDs will be available at the event, as well as two signed DVDs up for auction.

“The Wizard Rockumentary” added to our store

It’s an amazing documentary covering the birth of the Wizard Rock movement where hundreds of bands worldwide perform songs about Harry Potter, many times to help promote literacy and improve our world.

HPA Campaign Concluded

In June and July the Harry Potter Alliance teamed up with us to offer free shipping on Harvey Putter DVDs with a portion of sales going to their charitable organization. We are happy to report that we sold 24 DVDs during that period. This was part of their new campaign called Passing On The Magic.

A huge thank you to the HPA (especially Andrew Slack and Amy Shook) and everyone who helped support the campaign this summer!

Promo & Screenings During Release of Final HP Movie

We stayed busy during last week and weekend with promoting our three screenings of Harvey Putter to coincide with the release of Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (which is an AWESOME movie!)

We started off by promoting the film at Movies 6 where we had a display, plus lead actor Bryce Cone dressed (loosely) like Harvey, and Andy Swisher converted the Dedenture puppet into a full body costume and entertained the crowds.

Then we had three terrific screenings at The St. Joseph Library Francis branch and main branch, plus the very cool Merriman’s Playhouse. You can see photos from all four magical events right here.

Harvey Putter Rocks Hollywood!

During the evening of June 24, Harvey Putter had its West Coast premiere in Los Angeles at the amazing Whimsic Alley, an incredible wizarding store and event venue. Actress Sunny Christian (Hernia Grunger) and wrock musician Rob Ciana entertained the muggles and wizards with some live tunes in the incredible Great Hall, where we also screened the film–thumbing our noses at the Harry Potter shrine surrounding us!

A number of our cast and production team attended, including California residents Sunny Christian, Ian Strandberg (FX), Rodney Sciba (Mr. Filth), Stephen Bailey (Weevil), Jay Beyers (student/Beyer Castle) and Jordon Hodges (Shamus). Director Tim Richardson and Production Princess Trisha Miller flew in from the Midwest to attend the premiere. More photos from the event can be viewed HERE.
