Revelations Production
The WORLD PREMIERE was held at Indiana University
South Bend on February 22, 1997.
Over a hundred actors,
productions assistants, faculty,
and members of the general
public
attended.
The WORLD TELEVISION PREMIERE
was March 12,
1997 on TCI Cable Channel 3 at
10:00 p.m. during the
regular Richardson Productions
timeslot. It continues to be
shown in a rotation with
other Richardson Productions.
This movie was made during the summer
of
1996 and a little
into the fall. It was shot on regular VHS videotape on a home RCA
camcorder, with an added-on wide-angle lens and attached LCD
color viewfinder. Lavalier microphones were used mostly, as well as a
tripod. The movie was edited on JVCs and other highgrade editing
equipment at both the local cable studio and South Bend Community School
Corporation. The entire production costs came to less than $100! The
cafe shots were done at the Cafe Eclectic in Indiana. Despite the
incredibly small budget, the movie has received very positive and fair
reviews from across the country and sales on the internet are very steady.
