About the Wizard Schlockumentary:

 

Why oh why oh why oh why are we doing this???

 

Like many others, we are ridiculously dedicated Harvey Putter fans and have long been hoping for a way to contribute to its vast merchandising community. We soon realized that Wizard Schlock, which has brought us so much joy and flatulance, is still pretty unknown to most Harvey Putter fans (who live in blissful ignorance). So we decided to make The Wizard Schlockumentary: a documentary on Wizard Schlockers and the Harvey Putter muscians and fans (think "Trekkies" but way dumber). We hope that this documentary will expose everyone to the joy that is Wizard Schlock!

We first came upon "Wizard Schlock" back in the day when we watched Harvey and the Putters do a show in a cardboard box just outside a rest stop in Minneapolis. Their roughly recorded CDs became favorites on our stereo (along with Gargling To The Oldies 2) after which we  joined MyPlace online and discovered that hundreds of other "bands" had appeared, all performing songs based on the Harvey Putter world: Flaco and the Mudflys, The Groaning Gertles, The Parsleymouths, The Fruitofthelupins, The Scandanavian Scorntails, The Wifflers, The Chocolate Dogs, Polymer Boyd and the Dismembralls, The Waffle Kids, The Mufflepumps, The Hernia Grunger Experience, and sadly, many more! 

We are very much looking forward to the seventh and final film called Harvey Putter and the Ridiculous Premise which starts filming in 2008 and our Schlockumentary will be a bonus feature on the DVD when the movie is release in 2010, hopefully at a huge Harvey Putter con in Orlando.
